Family members and law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help as the search continues for 32-year-old Matthew Timmons, who has been missing since May 27.
According to the Columbia Heights Police Department, Timmons left his home driving a silver 2005 Ford Explorer bearing Minnesota license plate TAB299. He has not been seen or heard from since, raising growing concern among relatives, friends, and investigators.
Authorities describe Timmons as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. His vehicle was last known to be in the area of Highway 35 and 130th Street West near Dundas, Minnesota.
The concern surrounding Matthew’s disappearance has been heightened by the sudden and unexpected break in communication. Family members say it is unlike him to go without contacting loved ones. According to those close to him, he was expected home but never arrived and stopped responding to messages and phone calls.
His partner, Nick, reportedly tracked Matthew’s cellphone to the Dundas area and traveled there in an effort to locate him, but neither Matthew nor the phone could be found. A missing persons report was subsequently filed, prompting an active police investigation.
Loved ones say Matthew has been struggling with depression and anxiety and had become somewhat distant from certain family members in recent months. Those circumstances have only increased fears for his wellbeing as the search enters another day.
Friends describe Matthew as a caring and thoughtful person whose disappearance has left many deeply worried. Social media posts seeking information have been widely shared as supporters hope someone may have seen him, his vehicle, or anything that could help investigators determine where he went.
The Columbia Heights Police Department continues to investigate and is urging anyone who may have information about Matthew Timmons’ whereabouts to come forward. Even seemingly minor details could prove important in helping locate him safely.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Columbia Heights Police Department at 763-427-1212 or call 911.
Family members continue to hold onto hope that Matthew will be found safe and are asking the public to keep sharing his information and remain alert for any sign of him or his vehicle.
